Alexandra Zoupa
Co-Founder
BA(Hons), MArch, ARB, TEE
Alexandra was born in Patras and studied Architecture at London South Bank University (BA Hons Architecture). She completed her Master’s Degree (March) at Kingston School of Art graduating in 2016. She qualified as an Architect in 2019 after completing her Part III Degree at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London while working as a Project Architect at Sharpe Developments.
Alexandra initially worked in small architectural studios where she understood the design process and learnt to appreciate high quality design. After the completion of her Diploma, Alexandra worked for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre which includes the Greek National Opera and the National Library surrounded by a 170,000 m2 landscaped park designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop, where she experienced the tension of a live construction project which required high communication and collaboration with different parties; from other architects, structural and mechanical engineers, suppliers, site managers, in order to resolve issues that were arising every day. Working in such a professional environment committed to high quality design, made the attention to detail extremely influential and inspirational.
In London, most of her professional years she worked for Sharpe Developments and later for Goldrose Sharpe Developments following a joint venture of the two companies. Alexandra worked on mainly residential projects; from refurbishments and renovations to new build residential developments from the initial conception stages to their final completion and handover. Alexandra joined the company as an Architectural Assistant and evolved to a Lead Architect and Project Manager. Within a team Alexandra was responsible to co-ordinate every stage of each project while managing a team of in-house architects, designers, site managers and subcontractors.
Alexandra has a passion for the real estate development and construction. She is founding partner of DMA.
